Net-Zero

Removing carbon emissions entirely through mitigation and reduction efforts, or carbon removal technologies. An entity (individual, company, country) classified as “net-zero” no longer emits carbon to the atmosphere. It is a more ambitious target than “carbon neutral” because it involves cutting all emissions across the value chain through quantifiable targets.
