Digital Product Passports (DPP)

A digital record containing information on a product’s lifecycle and environmental and social impact to be shared with stakeholders and consumers. It includes raw material and sourcing details, production methods, distribution history, and more. DPPs create transparency in supply chains, enabling consumers to make informed choices. Although primarily an EU initiative, global governing bodies have potential to adopt this record-keeping system.
