Carbon Credits

These are part of a global effort to mitigate carbon emissions. Carbon credits are a part of a carbon market where emitters can buy or sell credits depending on whether they emit less than their allotted volume of emissions or if they exceed it, respectively. This is part of a “cap and trade” approach.
