Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)

Capturing carbon dioxide emissions from polluting sources, such as burning fossil fuels or incineration, and storing it in a designated location to prevent further carbon from being released into the environment. Storage solutions include injection into underground rock formations and unmineable coal seams.
