Katherine Sizov is the co-founder and CEO of Strella Biotechnology.
Strella uses proprietary sensors, IoT networks and data analysis to interpret the shelf life of produce, enabling its clients to make the best supply chain decisions for their businesses while helping to reduce food waste and increasing the quality of produce we consume.
Founded in 2017 by Katherine Sizov and Jay Jordan, Strella Biotechnology has secured several million dollars in startup funds from high-profile investors such as Mark Cuban, Yamaha Motor Ventures & Laboratory Silicon Valley, Catapult Ventures, Red & Blue Ventures, and Union Labs.
Sizov attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Molecular Biology and Chemistry and Engineering Entrepreneurship. She is the recipient of the Presidents’ Innovation Prize from Penn.
